Policy on pay scale equity

Ege University is dedicated to ensuring fair pay scales for all staff members, irrespective of gender, as Article 43 of Government Law No. 657 mandates. Salary, regardless of gender, is determined solely based on factors such as service class, job title, staff seniority, qualifications, and education. In line with this commitment, Ege University adheres to SDG 8.2.1 and follows the policy of ensuring equal pay for equivalent work among similarly qualified employees. Additionally, our unwavering commitment to gender equality is underscored in the Ege Women's Studies Center Policy, as well as the Ege University Supporting Gender Equality and Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policy, which reaffirms our resolve to eradicate gender disparities.
