Universal Projects for Free Access to Online Resources

TECCHED Project

The international TECCHED project, supported by the European Union and including Ege University and Bitlis Eren University from Turkey, is carried out with the partnership of Ruse University from Bulgaria, Liepaja University from Latvia, Vytauto Didziojo University from Lithuania, EOLAS from Spain and EUROGEO from Belgium.

The Interactive Climate Book is part of the TECCHED

Digital Learning Platform. The bok has been developed

based on the TECCHED curriculum for teaching climate

change to preservice teachers in higher education institutions,

through the integration of digital technologies and

fostering preservice teachers’ character and values.

The TECCHED project has created a digital learning platform for climate education

which provides an interactive and accessible space for learners to explore

climate change topics, tools and learning resources. It combines multimedia

resources, virtual simulations, and gamified content to enhance engagement

and understanding. Using the tools from this platforms can offer personalised

learning pathways, quizzes, and collaborative tools, enabling users

to grasp complex concepts like greenhouse gases, biodiversity loss, and renewable

energy. By integrating real-time data and case studies, they connect theoretical

knowledge to practical solutions. Designed for educators and students,

this platform fosters climate literacy, critical thinking, and actionable insights,

empowering learners to adopt sustainable practices and contribute to global climate

action. The tools have been classified under - Simulations and Games - Projects -

Data and Visualisations - Multimedia tools

Village Project

Within the scope of the "Virtual Innovative Learning Laboratories for

Global Engineering Education (VILLAGE)" project supported by the Marie Skłodowska

Curie (MSCA-SE) field within the Horizon Europe program coordinated by

Ege University, the event titled "Virtual Laboratories and Applications in Engineering

Education" for the faculty members of the engineering faculty was held in the

AROM (Research Oriented Student Center) event hall with the cooperation of

Ege University and Emoda Software, one of the 8 project partners.
