Free Access to Campus Facilities and Equipment

Ege University provides the use of some facilities and equipment from campus facilities to the general public in order to provide quality education opportunities locally, regionally and throughout the country.

Library and Computers: Students who are not studying at the university are allowed to use the university library and computers.

However, the library is open to the general public and they are allowed to buy 3 books for 14 days. https://kutuphane.ege.edu.tr/eng-1926/lending.html Periodicals and reference sources are used in the library.

Sports Fields: There are also sports fields on campus that are open to the use of all the public. For example, the Open Sports area consisting of 1 basketball and 1 volleyball court, located in front of the Faculty of Pharmacy, is open to everyone. https://sksdb.ege.edu.tr/tr-4539/ac ıkspor.html

There are also Healthy Life Running Tracks on the campus, which are open to everyone. However, bicycle paths are also free for the general public. https://sksdb.ege.edu.tr/tr-4539/ac ıkspor.html

There is also a 2000 mt bicycle path on the campus for public use.

Special Education Application and Research Center: Education and counseling services are provided to children with special needs and their families on the basis of contemporary approaches. https://ozem.ege.edu.tr/index.php

Ege University Child and Application Research Center: Public events are organized by the center for children and their families. https://egecem.ege.edu.tr/index.php

Ege University Botanical Garden: Approximately 10000 students from different levels visit the garden every year for educational purposes, and during the visit, they are given introductory and informative presentations by the center staff and the students of the Botany Department of the Department of Biology. The botanical garden hosts approximately 10-15 thousand schools with appointments and approximately 5 thousand visitors without appointments every year. Ege University Observatory Application and Research Center (Observatory) In 2024, 35 thousand visitors were accepted to our Observatory, where 19 social responsibility projects are ongoing, and regular scheduled training was provided. In addition, 28 thousand students who did not have the opportunity to come to the Observatory were reached and they were introduced to the telescope for the first time and observed space.

Atatürk Cultural Center: Seminars, exhibitions, interviews, theater and cafeteria organized free of charge in the cultural center are open to the use of all https://akm.ege.edu.tr.
